The 1st year classes took their first group trip to the glacial valley of Glendalough Co. Wicklow. After a long drive and plenty of scenic photo opportunities, we stopped to replenish our energy levels with lunch before embarking on the lower lake hike.
With the sun beaming and factor 50 in hand, we trekked through the woods, climbed up and down by the wonderful waterfall, before looping around the lake for our group photograph and another well-earned pit stop.
With tiredness beginning to set in, some wearily made the final trek back to the bus.
Thank you to all who helped organise and accommodate the trip. It was a fantastic team building day and students represented the school with exemplary behaviour. Well done to all students involved!
