This year, our TY students are taking part in a scheme called MicroInfluence STEM. In October, they met with Lynetta and worked on:
• Coding music sheets to raise awareness for school bullying.
• Automatic pill box for local nursing home that reminds old people to take medications timely.
• Designing a robot cat to help people suffering from depression.
• Designing aesthetic clothes for amputees using laptop applications.
• Accessible webpage for school canteen.
• And so much more!
The innovations are nothing lofty, but what’s important, is the students are building things that they will make a tangible impact on the school and communities for the better. We look forward to working with them to further their projects!
