You may or may not be aware that we at Bremore are embarking on a new project in conjunction with Unicef, which aims to save and protect the lives of children worldwide. We are at the beginning of an exciting journey towards earning our Bronze Award for being a Unicef Rights Respecting School. We will be one of the first schools in Ireland to earn this award. The difference that a Rights Respecting School makes goes beyond the school gates, making a positive impact on the whole community. The school steering committee is made up of teachers, students and parents/guardians.
There are four key areas of impact for children at a Rights Respecting school;
wellbeing, participation, relationships and self-esteem.
At this stage in our work towards the Bronze Award we invite you to take a few minutes to complete this survey. All members of the school community are being asked to do this. We will then collate the data and create an Action Plan for our school community.
