Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of our first ever Digital PBL!
Our theme for this PBL is Global Citizenship Education (Development Education) in four topics - Wellbeing, Nature, Travel and The Food Chain. Every student has now been added to PBL - Global Citizenship Education TEAM. Please let us know if your son or daughter has not been added to this team.
The students have four options this week regarding projects:
Option 1: Pick one topic. Spend four days on their chosen topic. Research it. Create a project.
Option 2: Pick two topics. Spend two days on each topic. Research them. Create two projects.
Option 3: Pick three topics. Spend two days on one topic and one day each on the other two topics. Research them. Create three projects.
Option 4: Pick four topics. Spend one day on each topic. Research them. Create four projects.
Today students will decide which option they would like to choose for the week. They will let their assigned teacher know and they will then choose from a list of activities on their chosen topic(s). Then the fun begins!
Each student will receive a booklet via email that they will complete as they work and send back to their assigned teacher when they are finished. They will also submit their work under the guidance of their assigned teacher.
We would love to see photos, videos, presentations throughout the week, and we would love to see families get involved. Enjoy Day 1!
