End of Term Awards Assembly 2020
Dear Students, Parents and Colleagues,
We have come to the end of a most unusual term. Who would have thought we would be working and learning at home. With little or no notice our students and teachers have adapted to remote learning. It is not easy. Each and every one of us would prefer to be back in our classroom interacting with each other and teaching and learning in the normal way. The classroom environment is much richer and much more interactive than online learning. Technology cannot replace the real life classroom. I want to congratulate all of our staff and students for getting involve, adapting and trying their best in difficult circumstances. If you engaged in on line learning well done and keep up the great work! If you have yet to join in, maybe you will try after the Spring Break or you can start now, the tasks are all on OneNote and Teams.
We are breaking now for Spring Break as normal! All students need a break at this stage. The teachers may set optional work to complete over the Spring Break and 3rd years must continue to study, also take advantage of the free edco ebooks while you can. You could also try one or two of the tasks from my last newsletter. When we return on Monday the 20th we have a really fun task for all students, It is not to be missed, so make sure all of you log on on Monday 20th.
